JOB TITLE: Carers Champion
SALARY: Circa £30K
HOURS: 36 hours
We are looking for an ambitious Carers Champion to take forward carer specific projects, identifying new opportunities to better support carers within St Christopher’s, to coordinate the various efforts focused on this work and to train and support staff to better recognise and respond to carers who could benefit from help or support. We have always worked in partnership with carers and the work continues. St Christopher’s has a strong learning and coaching culture and this post is key to the development of our education and coaching offer to carers.
Your new role will be responsible for leading on the roll out of specific projects focused on carers support and providing expertise and advice around the best way to work with carers.
To succeed in this role you will need demonstrable experience of work with carers and a curiosity to use new and innovative methods of assessment e.g. Carers Support Needs Assessment Tool.
