Registered Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Personal Care Service. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic leader to work alongside our Head of Care and Deputy Manager to coordinate, lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the service. This post will provide a crucial role in supporting staff and driving forward our integrated model of health and social care.

Your new organization St Christopher’s Personal Care is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Christopher’s Hospice which delivers empowering and compassionate patient and family care, including a rehabilitation model of palliative/end of life care. This is an exciting time for us as we develop new models of care to meet the changing demography of patients living longer and dying from multiple co-morbidities and frailty.

Your new role will be responsible for supporting the Head of Care to provide strong management and leadership of the service, including contributing to plans for its development and growth.

To succeed in this role you will need demonstrable experience of working in the Social Care sector as a Registered Manager. You will need to be a nurse who can embrace the challenge of integrating health and social care to our unique population of patients and service users.

Experience of working within a charitable healthcare organisation or similar would be advantageous.
