£50 pays for a physiotherapy session to help a patient retain their independence and improve their quality of life.

£100 will buy two blood pressure monitors – good quality, robust equipment that can easily be moved around the wards.

£150 will help towards the cost of specialist inpatient care. Our skilled nurses provide compassionate care to more than 900 inpatients every year.

£200 will pay for home care visits bringing skilled nursing care and emotional and practical support for patients and families.

£500 will help to fund our Patient Ambulance which brings people to the hospice for expert care and to take part in social and therapeutic activities.

£1,000 brings effective pain relief that patients can control using a syringe driver – the hospice needs to buy 100.

£1,700 brings comfort and support with a specialist recliner chair. In the months ahead we need to replace all of our recliners.
