Palliative and End of Life Care Education Course Subjects 2012

St Christopher's Hospice Education Centre Good palliative and end of life care, provided by multi-professional teams, is a kaleidoscope that comes together in a different way for each patient and those close to him/her.

This complex choreography requires a well trained workforce who are competent and confident, and who understand how to coordinate care across settings and services so that everyone has access to good, cost effective support.

Providing high quality training opportunities for the 2.5 million generalists in the NHS workforce, care homes and elsewhere is a key challenge for specialists.

Our 2012 Education Programme offers training programmes for generalists working in end of life care and palliative care specialists.

It ranges from our short course programme, university validated courses and external training; to the library, bookshop and consultancy resources we have on offer via our Education Centre.
