Compassionate Neighbours offer their time, companionship and support to those experiencing social isolation towards the end of their life

Compassionate Neighbours in South East LondonCome and join us at the launch for:

  • Afternoon tea
  • A horn duo performance from the London Mozart Players at 2pm
  • A sing-along led by Katie Rose – Singer, Musician, Writer, Facilitator – at 3pm.

The event will also include a social art project about displacement call M o v e.

To create this exhibition, residents of the Central Hill Estate were invited to choose a single object from their homes that they wanted to share a photo of as a legacy of who they are.

Those attending the launch will also be invited to create small clay figures of themselves to build the community of Crystal Palace out of clay.

Compassionate Neighbours is a growing network of trained volunteers in the Crystal Palace area offering their time, companionship and support to people around them experiencing social isolation towards the end of their life.

London Mozart Players will be celebrating the launch of Compassionate Neighbours with a concert marking the start of their own 2017/18 season. Find out more here: London Mozart Players Season Launch
