Explore the secrets of hidden gardens in 2018

Welcome to the St Christopher’s Open Garden Festival, where supporters kindly open their gardens to the public to raise money for their local hospice.

Holding your own Open Garden for St Christopher’s

We have some fantastic gardens opening this year, some new for 2018! However, we are always looking to ‘grow’ our garden numbers. Do you have a garden – small or large – that you would like to proudly showcase for a day from May to September? Maybe get your friends, family and neighbours involved? It doesn’t have to be traditional tea and cake as many of our gardens feature BBQs or music. Everything that our participants do in the festival raises vital funds for your local hospice – and we’ll help and support you every step of the way.

If you feel you would be able to open for us, please call Tracy Blackmore on 020 8768 4573 or at t.blackmore@stchristophers.org.uk

Bring on all our bakers

Why not help by offering your baking skills? Our supporters love to enjoy tea, coffee and homemade cakes whilst taking in the beautiful gardens. Most gardens have a selection of goodies for sale so we always need cakes, tray bakes and biscuits during Open Gardens season. Donations are always gratefully received and really do help to make the day a success. Please do get in touch with Tracy Blackmore on 020 8768 4573 or at t.blackmore@stchristophers.org.uk if you are able to help.

Holding a private garden party for St Christopher’s

Why not hold a more private garden party for your family, friends and colleagues this summer? Even a simple family BBQ can become a fundraising event by inviting your neighbours and selling food. Telling them that you’re raising money for St Christopher’s, your local hospice, is a good ice-breaker and it really helps to spread the word!
