St Christopher’s Christmas Market in the grounds of Caritas House in Orpington on Saturday 29 November 2015 was a great success with hundreds of visitors enjoying the festive atmosphere and refreshments, including mulled wine and mince pies.
Stallholders sold an array of Christmas goodies and gifts, while event sponsors Alan de Maid ran a very popular Chocolate Tombola.
Lots of children enjoyed visiting Santa in his Grotto, which was beautifully decorated for St Christopher’s by SGN Gas. Children also enjoyed putting together bags of reindeer food, decorating biscuits and having their faces painted (many thanks to Zebadee Performing Arts for all the face paints).
Thank you to local signers Just Voices group, the Bromley Youth Music Trust and performer Peter Snipp for putting on such wonderful performances to entertain the crowds throughout the day.
St Christopher’s would like to offer a huge thank you to all the staff, volunteers and corporate supporters who helped make the Market such a success, as well as all those visitors who joined us for such a fun occasion.
