- £10 funds a days meals for a patient on one of our inpatients wards
- £25 funds Art Materials for the arts therapy sessions
- £50 funds a medical outpatient clinic appointment for a new patient
- £100 funds two digital blood pressure meters
- £500 funds five nebulisers to enable patients to receive medication directly through the lungs
- £1,000 funds a syringe driver to give continues pain relief and enable some people to go home rather than stay at the hospice
- £3,000 funds a month’s supply of needles and syringes for the inpatient unit
- £5,000 funds a years supply of medical garments for patients with lymphoedema
- £7,500 funds a specialist bed and mattress for one or our inpatients wards
- £27,000 funds a skilled staff nurse on one of the inpatients wards for a year
- £40,000 funds a clinical nurse specialist to visit a patient’s home for a year
Lent Appeal
We need to purchase 100 new syringe drivers for use throughout the hospice
Syringe drivers are used to delivery medication and pain relief quickly and comfortably for patients.
A series of quiet Lent Services will be led by Andrew in St Christopher’s Pilgrim Room, starting at 7pm on Wednesdays: 29 February and 7, 14, 21 and 28 March – all are welcome.

They are invaluable to our patients.
