Ron’s story

Ron Pullen I’m Ron from Beckenham and I’m 76-years-old. I am a day patient at St Christopher’s. I often have to use a wheelchair, but that didn’t stop me doing the Fun Walk this year with my familiy.

It was a fantastic day out and my team, PullenPush, and I managed to raise just over £10,500!

When I was diagnosed with lung cancer I was really depressed at first but then I thought ‘I’ve just got to get on with it’ and St Christopher’s helped me to do just that. It’s is terribly important to me. It means there’s a day a week when I can actually get dressed and get out of the house. That’s why I’m doing what I can to support them.

And you can too. It’s not too late to sponsor me and my team - it’s easy to do and takes just a few seconds.

Thank you.
