Concert Series: Martin Pyne and Sarah Walker

Talented composer and jazz vibes player Martin Pyne returns to the hospice with a mixed programme that shows two different sides of his work: playing his Abstracts for solo piano we have the acclaimed broadcaster and pianist Sarah Walker, well known to listeners of BBC Radio 3. Martin’s innovative jazz trio Busnoys also returns, with a unique blend of sound where ‘haunting atmospherics blend with mesmeric grooves and melodic improvisation’. The band features Martin on vibes, percussion and electronics, alongside virtuosic bass guitarist Jeff Spencer and drummer Trevor Davies.
