Founder's day

Every year St Christopher’s holds a Founders Day event on the birthday of Dame Cicely Saunders, to celebrate her work and vision. This year, on the 22 June, we hosted an afternoon tea as well as an evening of music and light refreshments.

Dame Cicely left a lasting legacy through her work here at the hospice and in palliative care across the UK and beyond.

Founders Day gives St Christopher’s the opportunity to recognise and thank those supporters who have also told us they are going to make a lasting difference, long into the future, by leaving us a gift in their Will.
