Challenges

Climbing mountains, trekking deserts, swimming the Thames, cycling the length of England, riding around the world...

Sue Ford trekking the Great Wall of China raising funds for St Christopher's

"The trek was much harder than I expected - I had not planned on climbing up the side of a mountain to reach the wall! But I have absolutely no regrets and it was a fantastic experience."

Sue Ford, who trekked the Great Wall of China raising funds for St Christopher's in 2011

We are thrilled to already have a team of 14 individual people taking part in challenges of every type to raise money for St Christopher's in 2012.  If there is a year to do it it’s this one, so whether you want to get involved with cycling, trekking, riding, climbing or jumping get in touch!!

Date: 2012
Location: Anywhere from London to Tasmania and everywhere in-between
Challenge: Anything active...trekking, cycling, swimming, climbing, jumping...

Regardless of whether you organise the challenge yourself or whether you book through a tour company we will support you all the way with your fundraising and help wherever we can with your training.

We provide all participants with a pack which includes sponsor forms and fundraising tips as well as a t-shirt or running vest for you to wear on the challenge - proudly displaying that you are raising money for St Christopher’s!

Some of the challenges that our supporters are taking part in this year include:

  • Saigon to Angkor Wat Bike Ride (Tour company: Charity Challenge)
  • Lands End to John O'Groats Bike Ride (private challenge)
  • London to Paris Open – cycle ( Tour company:  Skyline)
  • Teapot One - Round the World motorbike ride (private challenge)
  • Kilimanjaro Summit Climb (Tour company: Charity Challenge).

Help us to continue to care and take part in a challenge of a life time!
