Ron is 76 years old and comes to the Anniversary Centre at St Christopher’s once a week.  

Ron was a fairly active person and was always out and about, but when he found out he had lung cancer his world changed, “When I was diagnosed I was depressed at first. But then I just though I had to get on with it.”

When 24-year-old Aaron Stokes was stabbed to death five years ago, his family were understandably devastated. His sudden and tragic death tore their world apart.

“As a family we were at crisis point”, says Marilyn, Aaron’s Mum. “I was at a loss of what to do to hold my family together “. In desperate need of help, Marilyn and her husband Elvis turned to St Christopher’s.
