Support from St Christopher's

Because we are such a community-based charity, St Christopher’s can offer fantastic opportunities to schools who fundraise for us.

We can offer:

  • speakers to come and talk to your school about our work
  • tours and events for schools here at the hospice
  • lots of support, ideas and materials to help your fundraising get off the ground running

The nature of our work means that schools who support St Christopher’s benefit from opportunities for learning and discussion on the sensitive topics of death and bereavement, which can help student development and welfare.  Working with St Christopher’s and having a tour of the hospice for your school can also link into many different areas of the curriculum. More information about the Schools Project here.

Student Voice co-ordinator Gaby at Kelsey Park Sports College said, “Fundraising for St Christopher’s has been really beneficial for our students.  They have shown lots of enthusiasm and initiative in organising the events.  Being able to bring the school council on a tour of St Christopher’s was fantastic as they could see directly where the money they raise goes; the tour had a real impact on our students.”
