St Christopher’s has a 48-bed inpatient unit, and a home care service that delivers care to patients at home and in clinic-based appointments at the hospice.
Each patient has access to the multi-professional team.
How to refer
Healthcare professionals may refer any patients with advanced cancer, or any other advanced, progressive and life limiting non-malignant disease, where the complexity of the illness needs the services of a specialist palliative care team.
Home Care
St Christopher's at Home nurses work alongside the patient's GP offering symptom control advice and helping patients and families to adjust to their situation.
Leaflets
St Christopher’s has produced a range of information leaflets for health care professionals. These are available to pick up in the hospice. They can also be read online.
