Midnight Walk

Join us this October for the third St Christopher's Midnight Walk, raising funds for our Candle Project, which supports bereaved children and young people.

The 5 mile walk will once again start and finish at St Christopher’s Hospice, with the route taking in the local Crystal Palace area.

The 2011 Midnight Walk raised £30,000 for our Candle Project, providing vital support to children and young people who have lost someone close to them.  Candle rely on voluntary support to keep being there for children who need them.  Please join us for the 2012 event and help us make it even bigger and better!

Why not get a team together of friends or people at work?  Perhaps you could also ask your company if they would like to support this event.  As well as walkers we also need help marshalling the route.

2011 Midnight Walk

We were very pleased that comedian Jo Brand came along to start our Midnight Walk on Saturday 17 September 2011; around 200 people took part.  Everyone who competed the walk received a medal.

We had hoped to raise £18,000 from the event.  To date we have raised £30,000, which totally surpassed our expectations!

Thank you to everyone who took part and to all our fabulous volunteers.  Thanks also to Jo Brand and the Stokes family who spoke before the walk, and to our media partner the News Shopper and event sponsor Fidelity Worldwide Investment.
