Raffle Terms and Conditions

  1. Participation in St Christopher’s  Raffle costs £1 per entry.
  2. Profits from this raffle will be donated to St Christopher’s Hospice.  St Christopher’s Hospice is a registered charity in England and Wales No. 210667.
  3. In order to promote responsible gambling, a maximum of 60 tickets may be bought per person.
  4. The Raffle is open to all mainland Great Britain residents over the age of 16 (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and BFPO addresses and is due to The Gambling Act 2005). It is illegal for tickets or raffle entries to be sold to, or by a person under 16 years of age. Any person found to be under 16 years of age automatically forfeits the right to any prize and the original stake will be refunded.
  5. Raffle entries can be purchased using cash, personal cheque and the following cards: Visa, Master Card, Switch / Maestro, American Express or Visa Delta.
  6. CAF cards may not be used to purchase raffle entries.
  7. Raffle ticket stubs and payment must be received before midnight on Monday 3 July 2017. Any entries and monies received after this date will be treated as donations to St Christopher’s.
  8. The draw will take place on 6 July 2017. Winning entries will be randomly drawn in the presence of 2 witnesses. Prizes are as follows:
    • 1st prize: £200 Virgin Gift Card
    • 2nd prize: £500 John Lewis Voucher
    • Runner up prize (x3): £50 M&S Voucher
  9. The winners will be notified by Tuesday 20 December by phone, if a number has been provided. A letter confirmation will be sent the same day with instructions how to obtain your prize.
  10. A list of the winner’s names, post towns and winning numbers will be posted on our website: www.stchristophers.org.uk/raffle. To request a winner’s list by post, please send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to “Raffle Winners List”, St Christopher’s Hospice, 51-59 Lawrie Park Road, London, SE26 6DZ.
  11. The Charity is committed to protecting the privacy of participants. Personal information that is collected from participants is used lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. As well as processing your Lottery entries, the Charity may also use your information to notify you of activities and/or events organised by the Charity which may be of interest to you.  In providing your information to the Charity, you consent to the Charity using your information for these purposes.  If you do not wish the Charity to contact you in this way, please write to us at St Christopher’s Hospice, 51-59 Lawrie Park Road, London, SE26 6DZ.

  13. Donations from this raffle may be used to reduce costs, allowing more profits to be contributed towards the work of St Christopher’s Hospice.
