A fun day to fundraise!

Keith and Anastasia have supported St Christopher’s for many years providing accommodation for people travelling to London for one of our many Education courses, conferences or seminars that we hold each year. When they heard about our plans to build a new Centre of Learning they wanted to do all they could to support it and, with the help of their son, 3 and a half year old Harry, hosted a fundraising play day at their home.

“It was such a great day,” Anastasia commented. “We had lots of food and had hired a bouncy castle for the kids – which they loved! Over 30 people came and we couldn’t believe we had raised over £200 – we’re already planning the next one!

“Harry is such a wonderful child and, when we told him about the fundraising play day, he kept running up to all the other children at his nursery asking if they would come to his party! It was so great to see them all playing together and having fun on the day.”

We would like to thank Harry, Anastasia, Keith and their friends for their support – without our community we wouldn’t be able to provide the education, training and care needed for the many people who need support at the end of their lives. Thank you.
