What’s next for our Living, Loving and Dying series?
We’ve got an exciting programme of events coming up for the Living, Loving and Dying series this year
January started with a showing of Dame Barbara Monroe’s presentation to the Cicely Sunders Institute (CSI) on ‘is Hospice fit for the 21st century?’
Barbara attended the event, updated the themes in the presentation and led a discussion.

During 2016, the events will take place on the third Thursday of every other month with a bonus event in April.
Our next event on Thursday 17 March – ‘Digital life and death’ – will explore how social media and digital platforms can help us make choices and find support in terminal illness and think about how
we can leave behind a digital legacy.
Future titles include ‘How the arts support dying people’ on 21 April and ‘Dying without faith’ on 19 May.
