Womad 2018
LEWISHAM’S HOSPICE
We’re now the sole provider of community palliative care in Lewisham; meaning we’re the local hospice for the borough.

FESTIVAL FUN
St Christopher’s staff and volunteers gave up their weekend to help members of our Young Adults Group realise their dream of going to a music festival. They went to WOMAD and had a whale of a time!

FOOD FESTIVAL
Our Food Festival, sponsored by Bristol Street Motors, raised over £26,000 – thank you to all who came along.

PATIENT CARE
Last year we cared for over 6,500 patients, their families, friends and carers.

Google DoodleGOOGLE DOODLE
We weren’t the only ones celebrating Dame Cicely Saunders’ 100th birthday on Friday 22 June, with Google dedicating it’s ‘doodle’ (pictured) in honour of our founder who transformed end of life care.

WE HAVE A POP-UP SHOP!
In July we opened our 20th high street shop and our first ‘pop-up’ in Sydenham. The shop specialises in furniture and homewares so pop in if you’re looking to spruce up your home.

VOLUNTEER’S WEEK
At St Christopher’s we’re fortunate to have the support of 1,350 volunteers who generously give their time and expertise. To celebrate their efforts we held a celebration event, invited people to share messages of appreciation and launched our Volunteer Values Awards marking the heroic efforts of a few of our volunteer stars.
