All registered QELCA© Trainers (those who have successfully completed the assignment and received certification from St Christopher’s) are required to attend at least one CPD event a year.
In 2021 we will be hosting two interactive half-day online CPD events for English-speaking QELCA© Trainers. This will be an opportunity to share experiences as Trainers and particularly how we have adapted to challenges during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
As a registered QELCA© Trainer you are invited to attend at least one of these events but you are welcome to attend both if you would value the opportunity to network with the wider international QELCA© Community of Practice. Please book your place in advance.

St Christopher’s exists to provide and promote skilled and compassionate end of life care of the highest quality. We aim to realise a society where all dying people and those close to them have access to the care and support they need, when and wherever they need it. We promote excellence in end of life care by delivering a range of training programmes to students from all over the world.

At St Christopher's, a registered charity, it is important for us to maximise any surpluses to reinvest in the objectives of the charity.
Unfortunately, the manner in which we undertake our training currently means we are not able to invest as much of our surplus as possible, therefore from the 1 December 2017, St Christopher’s Education Centre will charge VAT at the standard rate on our training courses, the reason for this change in pricing is twofold:
i) We want to be able to reinvest any surpluses made from training back into all of our charitable objectives rather than only Education
ii) We want to be able to reclaim the VAT on costs relating to developing and running the training courses
