London Marathon 2027
Event overview
- 25 Apr, 2027
The London Marathon 2027 ballot closed on Friday 1 May 2026, and our applications for charity places are also now closed.
Results will be announced to all those who applied for a charity place week commencing 24 August 2026.
If you have a ballot place and would like to run for St Christopher’s, please contact Lucy Heward.

Fundraising
We ask all our charity place runners to raise at least £3,000 as part of this event.
We ask ballot place holders to raise as much as they can.
As a charity, we rely on donations from individuals and groups in order to provide high quality end of life care for our community.
But don’t worry, we’re here to make sure your fundraising is enjoyable and successful.

Meet some of our previous London Marathon Runners!
Michael Mumford is running in memory of his best mate, Tony
“If I was going to run the Marathon, I had to do it for charity and there was only one charity I’d want to run it for. St Christopher’s means so much to me…”
John Foster is running for a charity close to his heart
St Christopher’s will always have a place in my partners and my heart. It is where our mums gained their angel wings and we will never forget them.
When I got a place, I burst into tears. Shock, joy, wow!
Thirty years after promising that she would emulate her Uncle Chris and complete the London Marathon, Gemma Waro is all set to make good on that pledge.
Feeling inspired? Take on the challenge and be part of
Team St Christopher’s.
