Kick off 2021 with the Ultra Challenge Series’ Winter Walk. Starting and finishing at the Oval Cricket Ground in Vauxhall, you’ll walk past several of London’s landmarks and popular spots including Buckingham Palace, the Barbican Centre, and the Shard. You’ll also cross some of the city’s most iconic bridges and parks such as Westminster Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge, and St James’ Park.
You can choose to walk the full marathon route (26.2 miles) or the half marathon route (13.1 miles). With two great routes, warm refreshment stops along the way, a hot meal when you finish and free merchandise, this is lining up to be one of THE events of 2021!
Check out the routes here.
Fancy taking on the London Winter Walk with your family or as part of another organised group? Completing a challenge as a team feels great and what better way to re-connect with friends and family following a tough year than to challenge yourself and do something good for your local hospice.
Don’t worry if you’re not taking part as a group. You’ll still have lots of fun and you will make friends along the way!
The Ultra Challenge Series team who organise this event have worked hard to ensure that it can go ahead safely and securely with social distancing and adherence to government guidelines. Start times will be staggered and every possible precaution will be taken so that all you need to think about is this walking!
Ultra Challenge Series’ Covid-19 promise: “For the Winter Walk we will guarantee either a free of charge transfer across to another event in 2021, or a full refund should we have to cancel the challenge as a result of a regional or national lockdown which would mean we cannot operate due to Covid-19.”
Due to Covid-19 there are limited spaces for this event, so sign up now to avoid missing out
