At St Christopher’s, we want to do things differently when it comes to frailty and end of life. That’s why in October, we will be hosting a one-day conference where we hope to forge connections and start conversations between people with a shared ambition to improve understanding and action in this particular area of care provision.
There is so much to learn about frailty and end of life, from discussing the challenges that family, friends and carers face to examining the existing initiatives that combine palliative care and frailty services.
We will hear from a range of expert speakers and have the chance to generate new ideas, together. Whether you’re a person who’s experience living with frailty; a family member, friend or carer; a community leader; a nurse or health and social care worker, we welcome you to join us on Thursday 14 October in our brand-new Centre for Awareness and Response to End of Life, also known as St Christopher’s CARE.
As well as facilitating the opportunity to discover, support and unite, we hope that learnings from the day will contribute towards a report on the intersection between frailty and end of life care, which could then eventually form the basis of a new approach to an issue that will be relevant to most of us at some point in the future.
Will you take action? Find out more about the conference and buy your tickets here.
