Funding our care: most of it comes from you!

Individual donations help us change lives for the better

49%

of our fundraising income comes from gifts in supporter’s Wills. This is a wonderful way to support our work, particularly if you feel that you’re not able to donate money right now. Gifts in Wills can also be tax efficient (always seek advice!) and if you tell us about your gift, they allow us to plan more effectively for the future.

37.9%

of our fundraising income comes from thousands of individual donations which help fund the day to day running of St Christopher’s. Thanks to all our lottery players, cheque writers, cake bakers, sky divers and marathon runners for all you do to support us – you make it all happen!

7%

of our fundraising income comes from grants given by charitable trusts or funds keen to help us develop specific projects or work areas at St Christopher’s. If you are linked with any trusts who might like to support us, please contact Katie Vines at k.vines@stchristophers.org.uk or call 020 768 4590.

4.5%

of our fundraising income comes from Gift Aid. Whether you’re dropping off goods to our shops or making a donation at a wedding, if you complete a quick gift aid slip it means we can claim back from the government on your behalf 25p for every £1 donated (if you are a UK taxpayer). That’s a lot of pennies!

1.6%

of our fundraising income comes from businesses, strengthening our relationships with our local community. Thank you to businesses large and small for volunteering and fundraising for us. Get in touch if your workplace would like to support us.
