Resources for GPNN members
GPNN members have access to a variety of resources to support their growth and work as a palliative nurse.
The Lantern Model
This was developed in 2020 in celebration of the Year of the Nurse. Evidence and practice based, it offers a conceptual appreciation of palliative nursing to inform practice, education/training and leadership of nurses.
GPNN members can access talks and tools that take the model into practice, available to members for contextualisation and use as they wish.

Spotlight presentations
The network meets regularly to hear from contemporary leaders from around the world about issues pertinent to palliative nursing.
Examples include nurse wellbeing and assisted dying, trauma-informed practice, and global palliative nursing leadership. As a member you can watch previous talks, download slides and any write up from the event.
Conference proceedings
The GPNN has enjoyed a number of conferences, where leaders from around the world have offered their expertise and insights.
GPNN members can re-watch some of these talks, download slides and read more about the individual events and their impact.

The aim of the GPNN is to establish a worldwide network to provide peer support and professional development for all nurses working in palliative care – wherever they are.
