Our Green Shoots garden photo competition has now closed and the winners will be announced on Monday 3 August. Watch this space!

  • There are six categories to choose from. You can enter as many categories as you like and you can enter each category multiple times. Simply take a look at the list of categories below and decide how many entries you would like to submit.

    • Best blooms – Show us your beautiful plants and flowers in all their colourful glory
    • Wonderful wildlife – Does your garden attract bees, butterflies or birds? Share photos of the wildlife that visits your garden
    • Lush landscapes – Inspire us with your garden views and rich scenery
    • Chill out corners – Show us your peaceful spots, your haven of calm or maybe where you catch the last of the evening sun
    • Creative small spaces – Good things often come in small packages, show us your courtyard, balcony, window box, pots or planters
    • Homegrown goodness – Do you have a bumper crop of beans, a super-sized squash or some perfect peas?
    1. Sign up on our website – £2.50 per entry or £10 for 5 entries.
    2. Head to our Facebook event page to submit your entries. Each category has its own post and you simply need to post your photos in the comments under your chosen categories.
    3. That’s it! Now enjoy eyeing up the competition and wait for the winners to be announced on Monday 3 August!
  • All entries on our Green Shoots garden photo competition Facebook event page will be judged by the Fundraising Team and some of our wonderful gardening volunteers!

    You have until Sunday 2 August to submit your entries and the winners will be announced on Monday 3 August.

    The winning photo from each category will be displayed on our Facebook page and win a St Christopher’s branded tote bag.

    We will also be selecting three ‘Best in show’ winners to receive one of the following prizes:

    • First prize  – a floral print by artist Gael Sellwood
    • Second prize  – a painted birdbox
    • Third prize  – a bag and seed pack from Sarah Raven.
