HRH Princess Alexandra visits St Christopher’s and talks to patients, staff, volunteers and supporters
Patron HRH Princess Alexandra has visited every year since 1982
St Christopher’s was delighted to welcome Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra to the hospice on Thursday 10 December. The Princess is Patron of the hospice and visits every year at Christmas.
Her Royal Highness was greeted by Morgan Jones, Chairman of St Christopher’s Board, St Christopher’s Joint Chief Executives, Heather Richardson and Shaun O’Leary, and other members of the hospice senior management team. Her Royal Highness was then taken on a tour of the wards by Anne Nash, matron of the inpatient unit.
On the wards, the Princess met with patients and their families and then joined 100 invited hospice supporters, friends and patients in the Anniversary Centre for tea and cake.
