We rely on volunteers to knit all of our Easter decorations which we sell with treats inside to raise money - please can you help?
The Easter 2017 campaign raised an incredible £5,237.58 which equates to around 3491 chicks and bunnies! This is quite amazing, thank you so much for helping us to achieve this.
Going forward we are going to take a step back from the Christmas knitting campaign of stockings and little snowmen and Santa’s. There are a number of reasons for this; the main one being that it is less successful than the Easter campaign.
We will be sending the Christmas items we are already receiving out to some of the Outlets that sell the most for us with their permission of course, e.g. the Princess Royal University Hospital and our own Day Centres and shops but going forward, please can we ask our wonderful band of knitters if they can turn their attention to knitting for the Easter campaign.
Additionally if you are able to knit baby clothes, blankets and toys, we can sell these items at our fairs.
Knitted goods can be dropped off at St Christopher’s in Sydenham or Orpington, or at your local St. Christopher’s shop. Please do include a note of your name and address so that we can write and thank you.
Many thanks for continuing to support St Christopher’s. We do appreciate it.
