St Christopher’s currently delivers academically accredited education in partnership with three Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Kings College London, Middlesex and BPP Universities (whilst taking students on practice placements from several others).
These partnerships are extremely important to St Christopher’s and mutually beneficial to both parties: we are reminded of the importance of research-based evidence to support practice whilst our HEI partners are reminded of the ‘real world’ issues that face palliative care clinicians in practice.
King’s College London (KCL)
St Christopher’s has a longstanding relationship with KCL having co-developed the MSc in Palliative Care. We also co-deliver two post-qualification palliative and end of life care modules for nurses. Of note is the Advanced Assessment in Enhancing Palliative Care Practice delivered almost exclusively by clinicians from St Christopher’s. This module is core for those working towards a post-graduate diploma or Masters in Advanced Practice in palliative care. For more information and applications please contact:
