Could your organisation transform palliative care by delivering QELCA© training?

PUBLISHED

Whether based within or outside the UK, if you are a hospice or palliative care provider wishing to share your expertise with partner organisations in order to widen the benefits of good end of life care to those with life-limiting long term conditions and the frail elderly, please consider becoming a QELCA© Satellite

QELCA© Satellites, UK and International, are listed on the St Christopher’s ‘Education’ webpages as are all QELCA© Trainers who have successfully completed the City & Guilds accredited QELCA© Train the Trainers programme and are currently registered.

We’re delighted to announce that Myton Hospice has become our first UK QELCA© Satellite and is currently delivering QELCA© to nurses from its local acute hospitals.

Our first two International QELCA© Satellites are based in Beijing, China and Montreal (West Island Palliative Care Residence) in Canada. Liz, our Director of Education and Training, was recently in Montreal presenting QELCA© to the International Congress for Palliative Care and was also able to spend time delivering QELCA© Train the Trainers to additional staff at the West Island Palliative Care Residence.
