Loss and Legacy Workshop

Our Loss and Legacy Workshops provide a supportive space for individuals who have experienced bereavement or are interested in understanding more about loss.
Our workshops are free of charge – to join, simply fill out the registration form, and we will email you the details for the next session.
St Christopher’s CARE
These sessions offer a chance to explore the complexities of loss, share personal perspectives, and learn from others’ experiences. Each session includes themed discussions on specific topics and interactive exercises to deepen our understanding of loss and legacy.
Living with Loss
Together, we’ll explore the different kinds of loss we might face, the many ways grief can show up for us, and some of the coping strategies we may already use or wish to learn more about.
Recognising Legacy
We’ll explore what legacy means, reflect on the continuing bonds we hold with those who have died, and look at the role of rituals, both cultural and personal, in helping us carry those connections forward.
Understanding Loss
In this session we will explore what grief can be like at different stages of our lives. We also look at how loss can impact the nervous system and discuss how storytelling can help us understand and connect with our grief.
These sessions are 2 hours facilitated themed discussions where you will reflect on different aspects of caring or loss through group discussions, sharing experiences, activities/exercises.
These sessions are designed to help you consider your own experiences, what you have learned from them, and to encourage learning from the experiences of others.
Who is it for?
Anyone who has experienced loss or is interested in understanding more about grief.
Do I have to attend every session?
No, you can attend whichever sessions you are interested in, but there is no need to commit to the full programme. Each session is self-contained.
