The Open Gardens 2015 festival continued this weekend with the opening of several wonderful local gardens.

Despite the pull of the Wimbledon finals on television, 115 people enjoyed the unique attractions of Sunday’s Open Garden in George Lane, Hayes which offered both a telephone museum and working G Scale American model railway.

Volunteers Ann Newton and Stuart George – who have been volunteering for nearly 30 years for St Christopher’s – gave visitors a very warm welcome to the unusual garden.  Anne Workmann also sold beautiful bunting and other crafts in the garden to raise additional funds for the hospice.  Thank you, everyone, for your support!
