I’m Janane from Lebanon. I’m an Advanced Practice Nurse and have been working in palliative care since 2010.

I’m a co-founder of Balsam-The Lebanese Center for Palliative care and played a major role in establishing the AUBMC palliative care consultative service.

I’m passionate about palliative care service development, capacity building, accessibility of opioids, pediatric palliative care and in the role development of palliative care nurses especially in LMIC countries. I believe nursing empowerment makes all the difference and this is what I try to foster with my colleagues, creating the right environment for them to shine.
