Ashley Spriggs
Ashley is a registered nurse and academic with experience in the care of people with acute illness, having worked in the acute setting before developing her role as a nurse academic. She is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing, teaching on units related to anatomy & physiology and bioscience in nursing. She is the current Programme Lead for the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing Programme.
Her particular areas of interest are dementia and end of life care. She is currently undertaking her PhD, the title of her thesis is: ‘The Development of an Intervention to Improve End-Of-Life Care for People with Dementia in Care Homes.’
