Brian has been nursing for 14 years and began his career at St George’s Hospital, where he gained broad foundation nursing skills working across multiple departments, including oncology. His time in oncology allowed him to gain an interest in palliative care and he joined the IPU team at St.Christopher’s Hospice in August 2020.

At St Christopher’s, Brian developed a deep appreciation for holistic, patient-centred care. This has led to an interest in pain management and a focus on improving quality of life and comfort for patients facing complex and life-limiting conditions. Brian works with the pain team in St Christopher’s regularly, ensuring patient safety is kept to a high standard.
