Clinical Paramedic Specialist, St Christopher’s Hospice
Caroline currently works as a Clinical Paramedic Specialist in the community team at St Christopher’s after joining the team in March 2021.
Working for London Ambulance Service since 2006, Caroline developed a passion for end of life care following clinical exposure with a hospice in East London. This motivated her to seek experience in the palliative settings, first in London as a hospice massage therapist, then in Australia as a passive movement therapist for Motor Neurone Disease patients. She then returned to work as one of the End of Life Care Lead Paramedics for London Ambulance Service, a programme partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support to improve end of life care provision in the emergency setting.
Academically, Caroline completed her MSc Palliative Care at King’s College London in 2022 and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Kingston University. Caroline enjoys both her own learning but also supporting others education in subjects she is passionate about.
