Claire Morris is a Global Palliative Care Advocate. She has a Masters in Development Management and worked in global palliative care development from 2004 to 2022. She worked on World Hospice and Palliative Care Day including the first in 2005, with events in over 60 countries worldwide.

She is particularly interested in the integration of palliative care in Universal Health Coverage reforms and publicly funded health systems. She is also passionate about the meaningful involvement of people living with palliative care needs in all aspects of palliative care advocacy, governance and programmes.
