Trustee

Dee has been a Trustee of St Christopher’s since 2020 and sits on the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee, the Quality and Impact committee and the Premises working group. 

She is currently Chair of the Finance Audit and Risk committee for two other charities; Nexus Education Schools Trust , a multi academy primary school trust that has 18 primary schools , an education hub and a special school and Street league a charity that uses the power of sport to motivate 16 – 24 year olds into education, training or employment .

She previously ran her own management consultancy working with GPs, hospital trusts, health authorities and the modernisation agency on commissioning and negotiation with fund holders, quality improvement initiatives and various projects including business planning for timely care by shifting resources from secondary to primary care covering a range of services (diabetes, ENT, phlebotomy, women’s health and palliative care).

Dee is passionate about appropriate, timely care, be it for a child at school, a teenager who has lost their way or an elderly person towards the end of their life.
