With 16 years of experience in the health and social care field, Denell began her career volunteering for substance misuse services, and now works as a Service Manager for Evolve Housing and Support, a Charity that helps people impacted by homelessness in London.

After qualifying as a therapeutic counsellor in 2009, she went on to study at the Chartered Management Institute, and managed a number of addiction services since graduating in 2013. Her interest in the homelessness sector was first developed over the course of a number of front-line roles, during which she witnessed first-hand the devastating effects that homelessness can have on an individual.
