Dan is a Consultant Community Geriatrician and Joint Clinical Lead at the Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre (JBICC), Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire. Dan and colleagues working within the specialist multi-disciplinary team deliver services including proactive comprehensive geriatric assessment, urgent community response and a frailty virtual ward which provide safe and effective community-based frailty care resulting in a sustained improvement in patient and system outcomes.

Dan is also Clinical Lead for the Humber and North Yorkshire ICB Community Centre of Excellence for Frailty, a new initiative to drive a standardised approach to the prevention, identification and management of frailty.
