Dr Daniel Stow
Daniel is a Lecturer in Epidemiology at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London.
His PhD at Newcastle University examined frailty and end-of-life care in primary care, including how frailty changes during the last year of life. Daniel led a systematic review of the palliative care needs of people dying with frailty, co-authored a qualitative review of their lived experiences, and contributed a chapter on palliative care to an international multidisciplinary frailty textbook.
Daniel’s current research focusses on frailty and multiple long term conditions in ethnically diverse communities.
