Consultant Neurologist

Sara Mazzucco is a clinical academic working as consultant neurologist at the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Swindon, and as Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the Wolfson Centre for Prevention of Stroke and Dementia at the University of Oxford. She is the lead of the MND service at the Great Western Hospital for Swindon and North Wiltshire. She was recently awarded a research grant from the MND Association to develop an evidence-based algorithm to manage choking in MND, with a specific focus on co-design and co-production. Her other research interests are cerebral hemodynamic, stroke and dementia.
