Dr Sarah Bell is the Medical Director and Deputy CEO of Garden House Hospice Care. After training and starting her career at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, she worked in a range of medical specialties at the Royal Brompton Hospital, the Hammersmith Hospital and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. She subsequently joined the East of England (EoE) Palliative Medicine training scheme and became the Medical Director at Garden House Hospice Care (GHHC) in North Hertfordshire, two years after qualifying as a consultant.

In addition, Sarah is an honorary consultant in palliative medicine for Herts Community Trust. She is the East of England Palliative Medicine Specialist Training Committee Chair and Royal College of Physicians Regional Speciality Advisor for Palliative Medicine. Sarah is passionate about expanding palliative care to underserved groups and is very proud of the national awards GHHC has been awarded for innovative multidisciplinary approaches to supporting those with frailty.
