George is a General Practitioner with an Extended Role (GPwER) in Palliative and End of Life Care. He completed his medical training at Guy’s, Kings and St. Thomas’ Medical School in 2009, and his GP training on the Brighton scheme in 2016. He currently works three days a week with St Christopher’s Community Palliative Care Team, at the Sydenham site. George primarily works within the rapid response team. He also works as a GP with The Lewisham Care Partnership, a large GP practice in South East London.

George has previously worked as a Macmillan GP, and also as a Clinical Lead in Cancer for the South East London Clinical Commissioning Group.

George has focussed on improving links with local GPs. Supporting GPs in training at the hospice, developing a GP resource website, and facilitating a GP community of practice in palliative care.
