Jarmila Whiteley

Jarmila has worked as a Community Connector on the Croydon Death Literacy Project for the past four years and engages with local people, grass roots groups, organisations and the charity sector about end of life matters.

Having previously spent 5 years as an end of life carer at St. Christopher’s supporting families in their own homes, her experience has seen the benefit when people share their lived experiences together and how it actively supports communities in understanding the value of how this can improve the network of support for one another when it comes to death, dying and loss.
