Julie was a Ward Manager on the Inpatient Unit at St. Christopher’s Hospice until taking early retirement last year. Despite retiring, Julie remains involved with the hospice by regularly working bank shifts on the IPU.

For 25 years Julie co-ordinated and maintained the service provided in the IPU for the care of patients referred from the Interventional Pain Service at KCH.

Julie also led the education and assessment of Registered Nurses in the care of patients with an epidural/intrathecal infusion, including the administration of drugs via this route.
