Katy, Dementia Care Manager at HC-One, is a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and chose to work in the care sector because it is person-centred, and it has always been important to her that the person always comes first.  She enjoys being able to make a positive impact on residents and relatives during their journey in the care homes. 

When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Katy remarked: “Getting to go out and support homes to improve dementia care so that we are always providing the highest quality of care that impact on our residents’ quality of life. Working with colleague to increase their knowledge and confidence and seeing positive outcomes for residents when we work together with homes.”
