Natalie Moseley BSc Honours in Clinical Practice, PGCert (Independent Prescriber) ENB 901 Family Planning.
Clinical Nurse Specialist and Team Leader of a Hospital Palliative Care Team – provided by Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice. I am also a member of the Hospice Leadership Team.
I have worked within Palliative Care for the past 15 years in a variety of settings including the Hospice Inpatient Unit, within the community and now in the acute setting. Previous to my palliative care career I worked in a community setting as both a Practice Nurse and Sexual Health Advisor.
I have experienced the challenges patients, families and staff face within these different environments and the complexities that each setting faces on a daily basis. I am involved in teaching Nurses, Doctors and other Allied Health Professionals within the hospital and manage the End of Life Link Nurse Forum. I have learnt that compassionate leadership is key in reinforcing effective team work, and strive to continue and improve end of life care in the acute setting where for many patients it is their first experience with palliative care, and when symptoms and anxieties are at their highest.
