By donating to St Christopher’s and dedicating a ribbon you will be making a vital contribution to our work
It’s been a tough year. Our world and lives have changed in ways we could not have imagined and we’ve all experienced a huge amount of loss.
The loss of human connection as we’ve lived through three lockdowns.
The loss of a hug with our friends and family at a time when all we’ve wanted is to hold each other close.
And, for many, the loss of a family member or friend who you’ve been unable to properly mourn as restrictions on funerals and services have prevented people coming together.
But hope is on the horizon. As the world begins to open up again we want to offer you an opportunity to celebrate the lives of the people you love, by dedicating a colourful ribbon of remembrance to create a stunning display in one of our trees.
Your ribbon will hold the name of the special person you are remembering and bring life and colour to our hospice gardens.
The ribbons symbolise hope and celebrate your memories, while giving us an opportunity to come together and remember those we have loved.
Spiritual Care Lead, St Christopher’s
Once we receive your dedication, hospice staff will tie your ribbon to one of our trees to create a colourful, vibrant and hopeful memorial.
We will also host an online service of remembrance at 10.30am on Sunday 22 August offering you the opportunity to reflect and remember those people important to you.
We will send you more details on how to join us online after your dedication has been made.
