If you missed the event you can watch it again via Facebook and YouTube
Remembering friends and family during the pandemic has been especially challenging. Given that we can’t all gather in the same place due to social distancing, it’s more important than ever that we find alternative ways to come together to remember.
That is why this year, we invite you to take time out to remember loved ones and watch our Remembering with St Christopher’s event online. This free event was led by our Spiritual Care Lead and includes musical performances from London Mozart Players, singers from popular West End show, Blood Brothers and readings by St Christopher’s staff.
Andrew Goodhead, Spiritual Care Lead, says: “Bereavement doesn’t end; it’s lived with, and we stay bereaved. Making personal and shared times to remember someone who has died, recognises the ongoing ties that we still have with that person. Our service of remembrance aims to bring comfort and a sense of shared support in your grief, despite all our very different experiences. Whether you lost someone unexpectedly to the COVID-19 virus, or you weren’t able to attend the funeral of someone you loved, this event is an opportunity to mark the loss, as part of the community”.
